~ Author Interview ~
1. What is one book everyone should read?
Mine DUHH!!! ;) No. I don’t know, I guess people should read more books that, have iffy reviews for instance I passed up on a good book for months because there reviews were up and down. In the end my judgment won and the book was awesome.
2. Night owl, or early bird?
Night definitely.
3. Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Because I write from the heart.
4. What inspired you to want to become a writer?
Reading what other authors wrote. It was always a long time goal to write a book. I just never thought to make a career out of it.
5. Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
The fans. At the end of the day I write for them, every time someone says I love your book I get all warm and fuzzy.
6. When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
I remember being asked this in kindergarten and I was all like yup I know what I want to be. I said astronaut. No way and heck now.
7. What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?
The third Hunger Games movie. PEETA. J
8. How do you react to a bad review?
A first I would almost be in tears. Now I just tell my husband or my Street Team and we laugh about it. I can’t make everyone happy, and sometimes people need a reason to hate someone.
9. What do you do in your free time?
Read, write, watch tv. I’m a lazy bones.
10. Give us a glimpse into a typical day in your day starting when you wake up till you lie down again.
-Lay in bed and check my emails
-Get up with my daughter, make breakfast, and turn on cartoons.
-Write, some take a break for lunch, bathroom breaks, and to play with my daughter a bit
-Write more. I write almost all day every day.
11. How did you celebrate the sale of your first book?
I was alone at home. L My husband works nights, so I was just sitting here drinking a pepsi.
12. What is your favorite scene in the book and why do you love it?
When Rex and Jenna finally come together. When they give it their all. I love the emotions that they brought forth in each other.
13. What are your current literary works?
I’m currently writing the fourth book in the Bittersweet Series. Bittersweet Symphony.

My junior year of high school I gave my heart to Corey Winchester. He was handsome, cocky, and a pure gentlemen. Then everything changed in an instant. When I found out he was spreading malicious rumors about me, after I refused to sleep with him I was utterly surprised. To add to it, he broke up with me in front of the whole school. I essentially became the laughing stock of the town. People that I once called my friends became my enemies. Finding a way to ruin my life one day at a time. Now the shitty part is I should have known a pretty boy like him was too good to be true. After ruining my reputation and life I did everything I could to stay under the radar, but it just wasn't enough. I slowly learned that all the torment, and hate was all for one thing. Revenge. That’s what Corey wanted, and why I didn't know. Then Rex Winchester came along. Corey’s cousin, and someone I knew I shouldn't be getting close with. A whole six feet of hotness, a smile that melted the panties off of every girl in a fifty mile radius, and a heart of gold. J.L. Beck is the author of Bittersweet Revenge(A Bittersweet Novella Book 1). A four part novella series. She lives in Elroy, WI with her husband Brandon, and daughter Bella. Since the moment she could reach the shelves on the book shelf shes been reading, thus influencing her to write. Her favorite books are those that leave an imprint on your soul. You know the ones that have you putting everything off because you have to find out what happens next.
When she's not writing or reading(of course)you can find her picking up after her three year old daughter, or explaining to her husband why its unsafe to do something any other way, than the way your wife told you too.
